The Verkhovna Rada Committee for Family, Youth Policy, Sport and Tourism has taken a stand against the draft law No. 1524 “On introduction of amendments into Law of Ukraine “On employment of population” (as to youth employment).”
During the consideration of the draft law, members of the Committee supported the legislative initiative as to facilitation of employment of the youth, however, noted that the offered document will condition introduction of additional burden on employers making them accept privileged categories of youth; will not guarantee long-term labor relations; and may entail creation of fictional jobs.
In compliance with Committee’s conclusion, the draft law requires comprehensive adaptation.
